What does applying Peat
Moss to the lawn do?
Applying peat moss during the fall aeration and
seeding process will GREATLY enhance your results. Peat Moss is natural organic
dirt that has a neutral pH that when applied year after year will become part
of your top soil. The process is to aerate, seed, lime, and fertilize, then
apply peat moss by hand in a thin layer (no more than a 1/8") over
stressed areas. Lastly seed for the second time over the peat moss areas. The
only disadvantage to peat moss is it can be costly, but the rewards are worth
the money!!
